Our Story and Vision

Redefining Red began as a response to the lack of access to period products and menstrual education. This challenge highlighted how many individuals face similar struggles, especially in underserved communities where resources are even more limited. The organization was founded with a vision to make a meaningful difference, ensuring that no one has to endure the difficulties of managing their periods without proper support. It strives to address the needs of those most impacted by period poverty and to create lasting change.

Redefining Red seeks to build a world where period poverty and menstrual stigma no longer exist. Through education, advocacy, and the distribution of essential menstrual products, the organization aims to empower women and girls to manage their periods with dignity. By raising awareness and improving access, Redefining Red is working to create a future where menstruation is seen as normal, and no one is left without the necessary resources.
